Molly -

Molly is a 5 year old black Dane with a lot of gray on her face and feet. She was given up because her owner was disabled and had to move to a high-rise, so she could no longer care for her. Molly is good with kids, and lived with a male Dane, a male Doberman, a female Pekinese mix, and four cats at her previous home. She would prefer to be around older or calmer dogs, or to be an only dog.

Molly is spayed and up to date on her vaccines, and is heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention. She weighs 132 pounds, and her new veterinarian says she needs to lose 20-30 pounds, so a diet and exercise program is in the works for her.

When molly was younger she had some obedience training by her owner, and is still very well behaved. She has never been crated and has never been destructive or soiled in the house. She sits and lays down for a treat, and will stay when you tell her to.

She is adjusting well at her foster home, although she was very sad to leave her owner, and her house-mate maverick (the Doberman) is currently living with her. It would be great if molly and maverick could go to a home together, but we feel molly will adjust well either way. She is very sweet and loves to be loved. She will be a very loyal and caring companion.
