Latest Update

Dear Jules, It has been about two years since I last talked to you, so I will give you an update on Lyla through your web page! Lyla has been with us now for 3 years. We were able to get her from Jim and Gil on a trial basis, but when I returned from getting her, I got a call that my Dad had passed away unexpectedly. Needless to say, my mother-in-law (not a big dog fan) Sat with Lyla while we were away. Since then, Lyla (name changed since we have a daughter named Maia) has been my favorite companion. She is excellent with our 3 kids! Our 16 month old boy loves her and vice versa. She is a very protective dog and still barks when we let her out. She has NEVER had an accident in the house (except when we got home from my Dads funeral) and she was happy to see us. She loves our new backyard, which is about the size of half a football field and yes it is fenced in. She will walk besides me on the porch, but will never dart off. She has been everything I had expected in a Dane. I can honestly say, I'll never have another breed of dog as long as I live. Thanks for finding her for my family.

She is a  2 yr old black female with   natural ears  that  likes to run. She is friendly but wants to be the  alpha.

She barks when left outside alone.
She has some basic training and is very sweet.

She does have some chewing
issues when left alone (rugs only).
